Article published August 23rd, 1934 by the Lancaster, PA Intelligencer Journal.

The 16th annual Brubaker Family Reunion was held on Saturday August 11, 1934 at the Midway Church of the Brethren (now South Lebanon Community Church), between Cornwall and Lebanon, PA.  Over 1000 people were in attendance.  The clan officers claimed that the average annual attendance of the gatherings are the largest of its kind in the East.

The large turnout prompted the Officers of the Association to call for a winter meeting to consider a new procedure for planning future reunions due to the highly successful turnout each year.  It was decided at this gathering that the next reunion would return to Lititz Springs Park on August 22 of 1935.  Lititz Springs Park was the site of the 1931 and 1932 reunions.
