Directions to Millersville University of PA

Our Celebration Event will be located just south and west of Lancaster, PA in the Borough of Millersville.

From Baltimore and points south:

Take Route I-83 north to Route 30 east. Take exit for Rout 741 east. Then follow “From Route 741,” below.

From Harrisburg and points west:

Take PA Route 283 east. Take exit for PA Route 741 east. Then follow “From PA Route 741,” below.

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, traveling east:

Take Exit 19/247 (Harrisburg East), onto PA Route 283 east. Take exit for PA Route 741 east. Follow “From PA Route 741,” below.

From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, traveling west:

Take Exit 21/286 (Reading/Lancaster) and follow US Route 222 south to US Route 30 west. From Route 30, take exit for PA Route 741 east. Then follow “From PA Route 741,” below.

From US Route 30:

Take exit for PA Route 741 east. Then follow “From PA Route 741,” below.

From US Route 222, traveling south:

Take the exit for US Route 30 west, then follow “From US Route 30,” below.

From PA Route 741:

On PA Route 741 east, the name Rohrerstown Road will change to Millersville Road. About four miles beyond Route 30, turn right at the light onto PA Route 999. Follow “Almost There,” below.

From downtown Lancaster City:

Go west on Orange Street, turn left on Charlotte Street and then bear right onto Manor Street. It will become PA Route 999 (Manor Avenue). When you cross PA Route 741 (Millersville Road), follow “Almost There,” below.

Almost There:

After the second traffic light (after Route 741), watch for the fork in the road and bear left onto George Street. Follow George Street. After you cross West Cottage Avenue, you will see University buildings on either side. Continue on George Street, crossing Frederick Street. Turn left onto James Street. Parking for the Student Memorial Center is on the left.

The Welcome Desk will be in the Student Memorial Center (SMC).  All Registered Attendees will stop there first to pick up their Welcome Packet. Attendees who are lodging will receive directions to either Reighard Hall or Shenks Hall as well as parking for those buildings.
