2025 Brubaker Family Reunion

103rd Annual Reunion at Bachman Hall

On Saturday August 2nd 2025 The Brubaker Families of America held their 103rd annual reunion at Bachman Hall on the campus of Homestead Village.  We had a wonderful experience holding the event live and on multiple platforms.

Our featured speakers were cousin Lois Ann Zook Mast of Morgantown, PA, and cousins Theo and Rosemarie Hafner from Germany.  Lois Ann presented a recap/report from last Autumn’s Brubaker European Heritage Tour to our ancestral homelands in Switzerland, Alsace, and Germany.   Many of our cousins who participated in the tour joined her in the presentation.   

Lois Ann has led this tour the last two times it has been held, in 2018 and of course this previous Autumn of 2024. 

Theo and Rosemarie brought greetings to us from our Old World cousins.  They spoke on the relationship of church and state, and how that impacted our ancestors who migrated to the New World.  They also compared that to the present day of the relationship between church and state.

We had over 90 participants present and online during our reunion, with cousins from California, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Virginia.
