This is the Miller – Brubaker Family Cemetery, Farmingdale Road, near the Village of Rohrerstown, west of Lancaster, PA, in East Hempfield Township. One of the oldest tombstones is that of B-19 Jacob Brubaker, Mennonite Preacher and Bishop who’s home was just down the street at 821 Farmingdale Road. That location has been renovated and preserved and is now a private residence and the remnants of the last Brubaker farm have been converted to a natural area with the Farmingdale Trail traversing it.  It is owned by the Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority.

Jacob’s granddaughter B-79 Elizabeth Brubaker (1811-1884), daughter of B-38 Abraham Brubaker and Elizabeth Brubaker (1778-1860) married Tobias Miller, hence the Miller – Brubaker connection.
