2024 Brubaker Family Reunion
102nd Annual Reunion at Bachman Hall
On Saturday August 3rd 2024 The Brubaker Families of America held their 102nd annual reunion at Bachman Hall on the campus of Homestead Village. We had a wonderful experience holding the event live and on multiple platforms.
We have it uploaded to our YouTube Channel, or you can view it below, here on the website. You’ll also be able to view it on Facebook.
Our featured speakers were cousin Lois Ann Zook Mast of Morgantown, PA, and brothers J. Marlin and Robert Miller of Lancaster, PA. Lois Ann presented a lead-in to the upcoming Brubaker European Heritage Tour to our ancestral homelands in Switzerland, Alsace, and Germany. She also laid out the lineage that ties together many of the listed progenitors of several branches of the larger Brubacher-Brubaker family tree. During the tour participants will meet some of their Old World Brubaker cousins and see where our ancestors lived, traveled, worshiped, and worked.
Lois Ann last led this tour in 2018; and has also in the past spoken at several Brubaker reunions.
Marlin and Bob spoke of the history and memories of their nearby family farm which was earlier this year designated as Pennsylvania’s first Tricentennial Farm. Their Great-Great-Grandfather Tobias Miller (1809-1889) married Elizabeth Brubaker (1811-1884) who is listed as B-79 in the book by Dr. Phares Brubaker Gibble, History and Genealogy of the Brubaker-Brubacher-Brewbaker Family in America.
We had over 50 participants present and online during our reunion, with cousins from Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
