Brubaker Family Reunion 1926

8th Annual event held in Virginia for the second time

The eighth annual Brubaker Family Reunion was held at the grove of Fannie Brubaker Lamb, near Luray, VA on Saturday August 28th, 1926 under sunny skies.

This was the second of two occasions that the Family held the annual reunion at her home.  The first time that the Family reunion was held here was in 1922.

To the right is an article from the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Tuesday, August 31, 1926.  The byline is listed as August 30; it is thought that the reunion would have been held on Saturday August 28th as this was the custom back in the day to hold it on a Saturday.
