Two Brubaker Barns Featured
Earliest Brubaker barns are featured on the Lancaster County Barn Tour and Rural Heritage.
A few months ago, Rural Heritage TV paid a visit to Lancaster County and participated in the self-guided Lancaster County Barn Tour, presented by the Historic Preservation Trust of Lancaster County and the Historical Society of the Coacalico Valley.
Featured in this video expose is the barn on the “B” Family Homestead and just down the road, the main barn on Pennsylvania’s first Tricentennial farm.
The first barn and the “B” Family homestead are now within what is now Brubaker Park in East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, PA, part of the original 700 acres patented by agents of William Penn to our Brubaker ancestors in 1717. The second barn featured is on 62 acres of the original patent.
